Employer Matching Gifts
Many companies, such as Microsoft, Boeing, Google, T-Mobile and Starbucks, match employees’ charitable donations. Some even match gifts from spouses and retirees!
By asking your employer to match your gift, you could double or even triple its impact. Check with your employer for the necessary forms and guidelines to request a matching gift.
Workplace Giving
Did you know many companies offer employees the opportunity to make tax-deductible donations through payroll contributions? Some may even match your gift, an easy and effective way to increase your impact!
Some companies partner with third parties such as United Way Worldwide, Benevity or YourCause. If you work for a government agency or post-secondary institution, they often run employee giving campaigns in the fall, giving you a chance to donate through the Combined Federal Campaign or local campaigns like King County’s Employee Giving Program or UW’s Combined Fund Drive.
If you are unable to find College Success Foundation in your workplace giving options, please contact us.
Leave your mark on the next generation
Scholarships have never been more critical for student success. When you fund a college scholarship, the rewards are life-changing.
College Success Foundation’s Leadership 1000 Scholarship program surpasses college completion rates in every category. L1000 Scholars have an astounding 85% college graduation rate. Our model offers students significant tuition assistance, provides valuable college coaching, financial aid guidance and includes special funds to help cover unforeseen costs or emergencies.
Supporting a student with a scholarship is easy to do, incredibly flexible, payable for up to four years, and — most importantly — will forever transform a life. Our Leadership 1000 Scholarship program is the perfect way for individuals, foundations or businesses to provide scholarships to talented students who need assistance in pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
For more information on donating to the L1000 Scholarship program, please email Anna Bennett.
Scholarship Spotlights
The Orsolina M. Gjurasic Leadership 1000 Scholarship Fund was established in honor and in celebration of Orsolina Milena Gjurasic, a loving mother, a proud Croatian immigrant and a nurturing human being who believed in the best of humanity.
Following her belief, this Fund was created in support of female, immigrant college students from Franklin High School in Seattle, Washington.
This year’s student is attending the University of Washington and is studying business finance and is expected to graduate in 2029.
Thank you to the Gjurasic Family for honoring Orsolina M. Gjurasic in this meaningful way.
You can contribute to this scholarship endowment fund here.
Every Leadership 1000 Scholarship begins with the generosity of a donor who believes in a student’s potential. These donors provide not only financial resources but also inspiration, mentorship and connection that help students thrive.
When Barbara Calapristi and Ted Jordan were matched with Jocelyn, they were immediately drawn to Jocelyn’s ambition and optimism.
Barbara and Ted’s support has made a lasting impact on Jocelyn: “The L1000 Scholarship has not only provided financial support, but it’s also given me a strong sense of community and encouragement that I haven’t experienced with other scholarships,” notes Jocelyn. “The mentorship, networking and consistent check-ins make me feel seen and supported as a whole student, not just as someone receiving funds. That difference has helped me stay motivated and confident as I work toward my goals.”
Read Jocelyn’s full story here.
A Leadership 1000 Scholarship can be customized around a general set of requirements requested by the donor. Donors may establish a named scholarship with a family name, foundation name or company name. If they wish, they may also be introduced to the scholar recipient.
As a donor, you’ll have the option to tailor your scholarship to the students you wish to support. Scholarships can be designed to fund students in a specific field of study, who have graduated from a certain region or high school, or who are enrolled in a particular college.

Making a gift to College Success Foundation in the form of appreciated stock or mutual funds harnesses the power of your smart investment.
