According to the U.S. Department of Education (ED), student corrections are now available, and an email will be sent to all applicants and their contributors in the coming days with 2024-25 FAFSAs that are in an “Action Required” status, i.e., their FAFSA has been rejected or started but not submitted. ED said the corrections should only take “a few minutes” and schools should receive a new ISIR transaction within 1-3 days of the applicant’s submission of a correction. Here’s an updated resource to help students and contributors make corrections to their 2024-25 form: https://ow.ly/OWxJ50Ri9uK (updated 4/17/24)
