Regional Director, CSF-Spokane


Shannon DemantShannon Demant leads the day-to-day operations for College Success Foundation in Spokane and eastern Washington. She was named regional director in 2019.

CSF-Spokane opened in five high schools in 2013 to provide a unique integrated system of supports and scholarships to inspire underserved, low-income students to finish high school, graduate from college and succeed in life. The organization serves more than 1,200 students annually from Spokane Public Schools.

Shannon brings over 20 years of progressive experience in postsecondary enrollment, access and completion. Her dedication to improving educational equity for underserved students has led to continuous improvement of CSF programs for students from low-income families, foster youth, students of color and first-generation students.

She received her bachelor of arts in business from Trinity Western University and a master of arts in higher education from Messiah College.

 

She is active in the community as a committee member and/or member of Inland Northwest Development Council, Mentoring Leadership Collaboration, Spokane Public Schools Community Partnership Group, Greater Spokane Inc.'s Greater Minds initiative and K-12 Roundtable, and Young Life North Spokane.
