Southern Glazer Wine & Spirits Golf Tournament: A Driving Force Behind Educational Scholarships

Another spectacular day on the golf course for Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Golf Tournament!

The high-energy golf tournament was filled with lively music, delicious refreshments, and opening remarks from Ryan Lumaco, Vice President and General Manager SGWS WA, Brandon High, General Manager Coastal Pacific Wine & Spirits, and James Dorsey, President & CEO of College Success Foundation. The evening featured a reception with exciting raffle drawings and an energetic live auction.

The annual golf tournament was established in 2018, thanks to SGWS leadership’s desire to support educational pathways for low-income, first-generation college students in Washington state. This year’s tournament raised an incredible $192,000 in total to benefit CSF Scholars. And, thanks to donations made by Safeway, Haggen, QFC and Kroger, $80k was raised during the live auction this year. Since the event’s inception, $730,000 has been raised to create scholarships and provide other supports to CSF Scholars.
