CSF-DC is excited to invite our scholars, new students, parents, and partner schools to join us on June 6 for our annual Scholar Spotlight & BBQ Cook-Off, a day dedicated to celebrating student success, building community, and creating meaningful connections through food, learning, and fun.
This event is more than a celebration, it is an opportunity for our students to step into a hands-on learning experience alongside world-renowned pitmasters. Throughout the day, students will have the chance to cook with and learn directly from experienced pitmasters, gaining insight into culinary skills, teamwork, discipline, and the passion it takes to turn a craft into a career.
Alongside the cook-off experience, our Scholar Spotlight will highlight the achievements, growth, and journeys of CSF-DC scholars. These stories reflect resilience, ambition, and the power of support systems that help students move closer to their college and career goals.
We are especially excited to welcome new students and families into the CSF-DC community, as well as our dedicated partner schools, who play a vital role in supporting and uplifting our scholars. This is a space to connect, celebrate, and strengthen the network that helps students thrive.
Guests can look forward to a vibrant BBQ Cook-Off featuring talented pitmasters, delicious food, engaging activities, and powerful moments of recognition and inspiration.
