CSF Scholars explore careers at T-Mobile

Exploration, inspiration, and networking!

CSF Scholars from Kentridge, Kent-Meridian, Kentwood, Rainier Beach, and Auburn high schools recently journeyed beyond the classroom for a career exploration day at T-Mobile.

Students heard from animators and received tours of their operations center and studios–including one with green-screen technology, a sound studio, and a graphics studio. A glimpse into the future that left them saying, “It’s cool to see the technology they use.” And, “I like the energy here, the culture feels good.”

Next, students attended an inspirational career panel with representatives from several departments: creatives, lawyers, accountants, and more. The panelists talked about their career journeys and what they love about their jobs and gave solid advice they wished they had when they were in high school and college. During the panel, a panelist revealed to the students, “My dreams were so much bigger than my obstacles.”
