Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits: Champions of Educational Scholarships

It was a hole-in-one kind of day at this year’s Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Golf Tournament! As the beneficiary of their annual golfing event, College Success Foundation was once again awed by the generosity of the sponsors and golfers who made this such a fun and successful event.

This year’s tournament raised an impressive $106,500 for CSF Scholars. To date, the event has generated nearly $800,000 to fund scholarships for nineteen CSF scholars and counting.

The high-energy, day-long event buzzed with music, refreshments and opening remarks from Ryan Lumaco, Executive Vice President and General Manager of SGWS; Brandon High, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Coastal Pacific Wine & Spirits; and James Dorsey, President & CEO of the College Success Foundation. The evening capped off with a reception featuring raffles, golfer prizes and a celebration of the scholarship funds raised.

Since its inception in 2018, the annual golf tournament has been driven by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits commitment to supporting educational scholarships for low-income, first-generation college students in Washington state.
