Welcome to CSF’s scholarship season

October 10, 2023

We want to introduce the variety of scholarship opportunities College Success Foundation administers for students in Washington state. These scholarships provide funding and resources to make a college education more affordable for the students who stand to benefit the most.

Which Washington state scholarship is right for you?

Leadership 1000

If you are attending a public high school that CSF serves (see full list) or are enrolled in CSF’s College Services and are planning to or are enrolled in a Washington state college or university, this scholarship may be a great fit for you! The L1000 scholarship is renewable and available in amounts up to $5,000 per academic year for students who demonstrate financial need. For more information on eligibility criteria, please visit our Leadership 1000 scholarship page.

Governors’ Scholarship for Foster Youth

The Washington State Governors’ Scholarship for Foster Youth awards amounts ranging from $2,000 to $4,000 to young people who have navigated the foster care system and are planning to continue their education to earn a college degree. Selected students can access the annual scholarship for up to five years to complete their undergraduate studies. For more information on eligibility criteria, please visit our Governors’ Scholarship for Foster Youth page.

Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship

If you are attending an eligible Seattle high school, show financial need, demonstrate academic promise, have overcome obstacles to contribute to your community, and identify with an eligible ethnic or racial group underrepresented in higher education, the Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship may be an excellent match. This scholarship is renewable for all four years of college. Award amounts depend on the type of college applicants attend. For more information on eligibility criteria, please visit our Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship page.
