College Preparatory Advisors
The College Success Foundation appoints a College Prep Advisor at each of the16 Washington State Achievers high schools. The main role of the College Prep Advisor is to match Achievers Scholarship Candidates with mentors and to assist them with attending the college of their choice. To do so, the College Prep Advisor recruits, approves, trains, and supports the Hometown Mentor volunteers. College Prep Advisors also provide services, workshops and event opportunities to the Achievers Scholar Candidates and college awareness outreach to Middle School Students.

HERO Advisors
The HERO Initiative (Higher Education Readiness Opportunity) is designed to increase access to the college pipeline for under-represented youth. HERO staff work with 8th, 9th, and 10th grade students, in the academic middle - B and C students - who have the desire to go to college and the willingness to work hard, but are falling short of their potential.
