The Washington College Access Network (WCAN) strives to improve access and preparation to higher education through a network of community organizations that collaborates to promote and support the use of best practices, leverage training opportunities and public policies ensuring the success of each student.

Washington State lags behind the nation in the percentages of high school graduates immediately entering college, 18-24year-olds enrolled in college, and students of color or ethnic students enrolling in college. Failure to address this crisis will have a negative long-term social and economic impact on the future of the state.
