About Us Overview
The Washington College Access Network (WCAN) was created to ensure that all students, particularly low-income, first-generation college-going students and students of color, view themselves as college-worthy and college-ready. By connecting existing college access providers, community-based organizations and policymakers WCAN will provide a framework for regional groups to connect with others to share best practices, provide college access training, and a place for understanding the policy environment. WCAN will facilitate the development and implementation of key policy components that promote college readiness and access.
