#39 - September 2006

#23 - December 2003
Announces a new scholarship team member, Mary Herrick, Independent Student Services Officer; more Governors Scholars prepare to enter college winter term. Submit Host support forms for events held this fall.

#22 - November 2003
Announces the first Washington State Achievers Scholarship Club at WWU! Information requested about students with $1000 emergency scholarship funding for the fall term. Also, requests information for any Achievers Scholars who are enlisted in the Guard or Reserve and recent photos of Achievers Scholars.

#21 - September 2003
Announces new college mentoring documents for use by the College Mentor Contacts in training the College Mentors; Transfer Workshop for the University of Washington; and a note of gratitude to all expressing an interest in participating in the first round of the scholarship selection process.

#20 - September 2003
Provides a copy of the Achievers College Expectations; Encourages Community Colleges to host transfer workshops with a note about the Washington Council for High School-College Relations (WCHSCR) fall tour of community colleges throughout the state; Reminds the College Mentor Contact there is funding to assist with receptions

#19 - July 2003
Reminds you to submit your college mentor report for the spring term; reminds you to submit your host support reimbursement forms and that funding is available for your welcome receptions; lets you know that new rosters will be arriving soon; and, college contact information will be sent for updates.

#18 - June 2003
Thanks to all who presented and attended the College Mentor Contact workshop on May 30th. According to the feedback received, everyone felt the information shared was good. College Mentor Contact reports will be sent by June 16th, please return by June 27th. The scholarship team will be at WSU for the Achievers College Experience, June 23rd through June 27th. Don't forget to submit your "Shoutouts" to have your students recognized for their accomplishments!
