High School Summer Programs

Summer enrichment programs are held to assist students with the transition to college. Two of the events are the Summer Academic Enrichment Program and the HERO Academy. The Summer Academic Enrichment Program is a four-week residential academic development program located on a college campus. The DC College Success Foundation collaborates with a university partner to develop and implement a rigorous summer program designed to assist our high school juniors in preparing for their senior year in high school as well as for college. HERO offers the Hero Summer Academy and other academic enrichment and college awareness programs to help increase college readiness for underrepresented youth, especially 7th to 10th grade males with the desire to go to college and the willingness to work hard.
