College Success Foundation - District of Columbia
The College Success Foundation - District of Columbia is a supporting organization of the College Success Foundation. It opened its doors in 2007 to serve low-income students and students of color in Wards 7 and 8 in our nation's capital. With a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, it assists students in six high schools by providing scholarships, support and mentoring to help them earn a college degree.
College Success Foundation - Tacoma
The College Success Foundation - Tacoma is a branch of the College Success Foundation. It serves students in all five comprehensive public high schools and all ten public middle schools in the Tacoma School District.
Washington State Mentors
The Washington State Mentors (WSM) is a subsidiary of the College Success Foundation. Its mission is to promote and support quality mentoring that fosters positive youth development and academic success.
Washington College Access Network
The Washington College Access Network (WCAN) was created in 2009 in Washington State. It was founded as a collaboration with the College Success Foundation, along with National Education Loan Association (NELA), Higher Education Coordinating Board (HECB) and the College Spark Foundation. WCAN is designed to improve preparation and access to higher education to all students through a network of community organizations. The collaboration promotes and supports the use of best practices, leverages training opportunities and supports public policies to ensure that all students have the opportunity and tools to succeed in higher education.
